Investor Relations / Senior Roadshow Executive - 6 month contract

Our client is alarge global investment bank in the City is looking to hire in it’s UK Corporate Finance arm. The Investor Relations department needs an additional Investor Relations Executive to actively assist clients in the co-ordinating and planning of roadshows across the UK, Europe and America. The role also has heavy involvement with the company’s institutional clients and will be able to deliver all investor information to clients in the form of presentations and meetings with individuals. Working as a team of 10 (with clients managed under categories, some split some whole-owned by executives) you will hold your own projects and assist others with some of theirs.
Core duties include, but are not restricted to:
- Responsibility for organisation of roadshows, logistics and meetings from inception tocompletion covering the whole of the UK client base
- Responsibility for own client coverage but working closely with Senior IR Executive
- Liaison with clients, Corporate Finance executives, Sales and Analysts on preparing programme of events
- Working with Shareholders Analysis, Sales and related parties to target appropriate investors for roadshows
- Provide investor feedback and recommendations following each roadshow, including writing up the final report. Working with Senior IR Executive if appropriate
- Write regular market reports for selected companies using Reuters, Datastream and Excel.
- Responsibility for preparing client expenses following completion of roadshow

- You must have worked previously as an Investor Relations Executive, as an Executive level before (or as a Co-ordinator for approx 2 years)
- Ideally you will have worked in financial services ��" or at least a FTSE 250 company
- You will be familiar with London and sourcing good venues in the capital
- You will be personable and unfazed by calling senior level clients
- You must not be afraid of hard work, and must be able to work well under pressure
