Summary:
Excellent opportunity for a confident, credible and delivery-focused HR Business Partner to be responsible for a challenging client base (IBD) within a leading Investment Bank . The role includes advice to line management at all levels on HR issues. Interaction with the business is carried out proactively so true relationship management is of the utmost importance.
Job description:
*The successful candidate will have excellent experience in a HR Business Partner remit, a solid background of working with heads of business and within a global team
*You will be supporting the Investment Banking Division (IBD) and must have prior experience of embedding solutions and advising this specific product line
*You will provide a commercially driven HR service, delivering HR initiatives and strategies
*It is important that the candidate will be able to provide advice to the business on a wide range of Employee Relations issues including poor work performance, terminations, ineffective management, grievances, disciplinary processes as well as assess legal risks
*Proven successes of effective Learning and Development, in particular, leadership development, performance management, and talent management is required as you will work closely with specialists in these areas
*In conjunction with Reward specialists, provide bespoke compensation analysis and reports as well as year end compensation process for the client population. Will include extensive consultation and on-going discussion with the business
*It is necessary to assist the Company in the delivery of the HR agenda and in managing the relationship with the IBD to ensure continuous engagement and support
*Respond to day to day issues that arise from within the division
*You will lead on various project work so will have proven ability in this
*The organisation is looking for a relationship builder with a consultative approach. You must have the ability to influence and partner effectively with business stakeholders. Clear communication is essential.
Quals / skills:
Degree and CIPD qualifications
Current and/or prior experience supporting the Investment Banking Division is desirable
Excellent HR Business Partner expertise gained in international, matrix Investment Bank
UK experience is a MUST
