JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will work in the Technology team and you will work closely with the business to identify and advise on legal risk associated with commercial, IT and agreements. You will provide full transactional support on key contracts and be involved in drafting and reviewing a range of contracts. You will work closely with the business teams and relationship management groups across the organisation. This is a varied and hands-on position.
SKILLS:
You will be a UK qualified lawyer or you will have done the QLTT. You will have a minimum 2:1 honours degree and proven post qualified experience. You will have strong technical knowledge of contract, commercial, IT and outsourcing law, specifically: software licences, hardware supply, hardware maintenance, software maintenance, software development, consultancy agreements, services agreements, non-disclosure agreements. The client is seeking experience ideally within the financial services industry, either with a financial house or from a well regarded technology law firm.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The role is of a level which would normally be suitable for individuals with 12 months - 3 years post qualified experience, but we will consider candidates from outside of this if they can demonstrate the necessary competencies
