Title: HR Pensions Expert, UK – Manager Level

Summary:

A fantastic opportunity to work with a leading global, commercially-driven company. You will be responsible for the management, co-ordination and governance of effective Pension Plans for the UK predominantly. Not only will you be developing existing Plans but you will be charged with the responsibility for creating new ones from scratch whilst tackling the complexity of dealing with multiple Third Party providers. You will play an advisory role, focusing on delivery to the business and a commitment to the inter-relationships across the HR team.

Job description:

The successful candidate will have excellent experience in Pensions remit, a solid background of working and building relationships with HR and the business. The role includes:

** Providing advice to HR, line managers and specialists on design, policy and trustee-related issues for the Pension Plans

** Attend all Trustee meetings and provide assistance to the Trustee in compiling advice for all queries
** Ensure a close working relationship is built with the external administrators and advisors and take responsibility for essential internal administration processes

** Carry out day to day contact with Third Party providers, reviewing SLA’s when necessary and managing the services provided

** Partner with the Compensation team to develop the Offshore International Pension Plan

** Assess the impact of budget changes on Pension strategy and current offerings

** Mentor and develop junior staff

Quals / skills:

** Degree qualification

** Excellent Pensions expertise gained in large, corporate/blue chip business environments
