Summary:
Excellent, newly-created and highly sought after opportunity with a leading global Financial Services company for a skilled senior Recruiter. You will be responsible for heading up Recruitment for the Corporate Functions businesses of the company (including Finance, IT, Risk, Compliance, HR, Operations, Audit and Legal). You will act as a resourcing partner to the business, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of all resourcing activities, managing a team of employees and carrying out hands-on recruitment for Senior level hires. In partnership with the Head of Recruitment, you will manage strategic recruitment campaigns to deliver high calibre employees across various locations and ensure the acquisition of people and talent.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with the business and respond quickly and efficiently to its needs, identifying any problems and designing & implementing the solutions to resolve them
* Collaborate proactively to develop networks and relationships across the EMEA region – HR, business heads and key stakeholders – to ensure maximum efficiency of client service delivery
* Create and define Corporate Functions/Infrastructure EMEA Recruitment’s regional vision and goals, highlighting opportunities for improvements and innovations
* Ensure that the company is positioned as an industry leader to bring competitive advantage
* Take responsibility as a leading participant on any global initiatives as required
* Be accountable for leading and developing a sizeable team of Recruiters; both direct and indirect reports (from the outsourced provider
* Ensure appropriate staffing and organisational structure for the team is in place in order to meet business needs
* Delivery Excellence – ensure quality and cost effectiveness of Recruitment service regionally
* Ensure processes meet legislative requirements, minimising risk to the company
* Oversee effective selection and management of suppliers and vendors, adhering to Company’s policy of working with preferred suppliers
* Work with team to record, monitor and review all recruitment activity across EMEA and provide reporting where required
Quals/Skills:
* Demonstrable knowledge of the investment banking business
* An expert knowledge of recruitment market practises
* A developed working knowledge of related HR practises
* Proven ability to balance the strategic thinking and operational aspects of the role
* Client focused and service oriented; strong relationship management skills showing ability to build within and across functions and regions
* Proven project management ability
* Vendor Management
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral
* Strong organisational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure while difficult deadlines
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly
* Credibility to influence at the highest levels within divisions and the firm
* Investment Banking experience
* Experience supporting Corporate Functions/Infrastructure businesses preferred
