AIX/pSeries Administrator (Linux) - Woking - Surrey - required strong in AIX 5-6.x, HMC, LPARS, NIM servers, VIO, LUN, SAN, solid web hosting experience, apache , PHP, F5 Load balancing, Kickstarts and other scripting skills to join my me client in Woking, Surrey. The chosen candidate will have excellent experience in AIX/ pSeries Administration 5-6.x (senior level) with Linux skills, experience of configuring HMC, experience of configuring and managing LPARs using the HMC, good knowledge of NIM Servers and related processes, VIO Server design and implementation, LUN planning, design and implementation and SAN switch configuration. Any experience in 3rd line Linux support (multi chroot environment), Web hosting experience, Apache and PHP, Kickstarts and other scripting skills. F5 load balancing and knowledge of iRule, Network troubleshooting, SAN skills (brocades \ fibre switching) ideally IBM, zoning etc and Solid VMWare ESX Server administration is highly desirable.
