Our client, a leading European Investment Bank, are looking to recruit a Credit Derivative Confirmation Drafter, the individual will be required to establish close working relationships with other internal areas of support. (e.g. Back Office, Front Office, Legal, & IT), allowing for a proactive approach to the business' requirements, understanding the lifecycles of the products traded and the systems and reporting mechanisms required to enable full control and accurate and appropriate information to be supplied.
Duties will include:
· To assist the documentation team with regards to all administrative tasks, and ad-hoc functions
· To ensure all incoming confirmations are linked into the automated documentation storage system appropriately
· Drafting Credit Derivative Documents, in line with ISDA 1999, 2003, 2004 and 2006 Definitions
· Liaising with external Counterparts to ensure that all new trades are verbally confirmed
· Liaising with external Counterparts to ensure all DTCC breaks are rectified
· Liaising with traders, structurers, sales, legal department and overseas middle offices with regards to resolving outstanding trades
· Appropriate escalation of issues contributing to Operational Risk
· Chasing counterparts for outstanding confirmations, to meet monthly internal FED Targets
· Ensure all reports and tracking statistics in the area are completed on a timely basis e.g. daily tracking, verbal confirmation, escalation & follow up etc and to resolve any discrepancies in line with FED / FSA Targets
· Close liaison with team members to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of queries
