CDS Operations Analyst

Leading Clearing House has a vacancy for a CDS Operations analyst. The key objective of the role is to ensure the efficient operation of clearing processes for Credit Default Swap products. The main responsibilities of the role are to monitor the margin call process, deal with any default or late payment, monitor the trade registration process and assist members, monitor the matching of trades in DTCC, and ensure all trades have been matched, deal with member queries, work with members of the process team and support the development of the business looking at and analysing the impact of new business. The responsibilities of the role are to provide support to the front office in the creation of new client accounts which will encompass analysis of client legal framework, verification of MiFID categorisation, creation of client accounts on internal systems, liaison with internal teams (front office, back office, KYC), provision of updates on client information to Front office/KYC team as appropriate; and involvement in projects/process improvements where necessary.
The successful candidate will be a graduate in a financial discipline, have experience from a compliance/KYC environment with strong KYC/MiFID knowledge, have some basic fixed income/FX/derivatives product knowledge, and ideally have knowledge of the legal structure of investment funds.
The role requires the ability to work well in a fast paced environment and excellent interpersonal skills and an additional language would be an advantage. more >>
