Our client, a world leading hedge fund with billions under management is expanding its business to Eastern Europe including Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Poland, Czech, Slovakia, ex Yugoslavia republics, Lithuania etc and they are looking for an outstanding salesperson with existing institutional client contacts to join the team. The successful individual will have a proven track record of success within Hedge Fund sales and will be well presented, professional and an expert in the Eastern European market.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintenance of the existing investor relations and acquisition of new clients in Eastern Europe
- Cross selling the Hedge fund across various sales channels in Eastern Europe
- Attending client meetings in Eastern Europe with family offices, banks, cash-rich corporates, pension funds, insurance companies and other institutions
- Undertake lead generation to generate new business in Europe
Key skills required:
- Proven track record within a similar role
- Fluency in one Eastern European language (Russian, Ukrainian, Czech, Polish, Lithuanian etc)
- Strong sales and communication skills
- Willing to travel
The successful individual will be based in London but will be traveling frequently to Eastern Europe.
