Aubrey Capital Management Expands Its Conviction Based Equity Offering Into Europe
Aubrey Capital Management Ltd is a specialist investment manager with a particular focus on global conviction funds. Founded in 2006 and incorporated in Edinburgh, Scotland, we are a privately held company with all of our shareholders actively involved in managing the business.
10 April 2008, Aubrey Capital Management Ltd wins a new mandate managing a European Conviction Equities product for Fondaco Lux S.A.
The product aims to produce absolute returns over the longer term, investing in a concentrated portfolio of 40-50 European growth stocks. The Fondaco Lux EU Conviction Equities fund is a sub-fund of Luxembourg based FCP, Fondaco Global Fund and the custodian and administrative agent is CACEIS Bank Luxembourg. The fund is open to other institutional investors.
The fund is headed up by Sharon Bentley-Hamlyn, a Director of Aubrey who was formerly a Director of Walter Scott & Partners Ltd. Barry McCorkell, CEO of Aubrey Capital Management Ltd commented, "We are delighted to expand our product range into a European product leveraging Sharon's expertise in European equities and building on Aubrey's conviction based equity products."
