A challenging role as a Vice President as part of the Mutual Funds team. Your role will, be to carry out due diligence on universe of Fixed Income Mutual Funds (MF) and contribute to the supply of a high quality menu of appropriate products for distribution into our different regions and client segments which are consistent with the house view

Your role will, be to carry out due diligence on universe of Fixed Income Mutual Funds (MF) and contribute to the supply of a high quality menu of appropriate products for distribution into our different regions and client segments which are consistent with the house view
Key Responsibilities include:
•Carry out comprehensive due diligence on various sectors of the MF universe, via a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
•Following quantitative screening, focus on qualitative research methodologies - a strong culture of manager meetings is required.
•Work closely with other members of the team in order to ensure cooperation across locations and a seamless coverage service of the universe globally.
•Work closely with designated region to ensure successful delivery of regional recommended lists fulfilling requirements of all business lines.
•Maintain a close monitoring of existing recommendations, communicating updates and changes to the business in a timely fashion.
•Work closely with rest of fund research team to maintain market leading knowledge

Requirements
•Deep level of investment knowledge and understanding
•In-depth analytical skills and product knowledge
•Proven experience of mutual funds research ideally specializing in Fixed Income
•Strong industry experience and links
• Detail-oriented
• An effective communicator
• An idea generator:
• Strong interview skills
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and report writing)
• The ability to communicate effectively with internal clients
• Ability to spot market trends
• Regulatory registration as appropriate
