A tier 1 investment bank is currently looking to add to an associate to their Market leading team in London. This is a top rated global team therefore all applicants must have experience working in an equity derivatives strategy team previously and have excellent knowledge of financial markets.



Within this role you will be responsible for:-



- Devising equity derivatives trading strategies in the European region

- Publishing equity derivatives research reports on a regular basis

- Creating and explaining trading ideas to potential investors.

- Creating Ideas in products such as variance swaps/futures/options/ indices/ convertible bonds

- Creating trading and investment backtesting models

- Combine ideas with fundamental analysis



This role will involve regular client contact therefore you must have excellent client facing and interpersonal skills in addition to an excellent understanding of financial markets.



The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role and be proficient in Excel model building and basic programming. The hiring manager is looking for a genuine interest in Financial markets therefore a CFA qualification would be an advantage.

Applicants must have an MSC/PHD in a financial subject from a leading university.
