Our client, based in London, is a rapidly expanding and leading provider of real estate financial services in Europe. They provide a full range of services to investors in loans secured by real estate and direct investments in real property and currently act as servicer or asset manager for several major global financial houses.

The role:

• Research, compile, analyse and report financial data on assets managed. Involvement in underwriting prospective loan security and/or managing assets.
• Analyse borrowers' financial statements and operating statements, assessing compliance with transaction documentation.
• Maintain reports for internal and external sources on security property value and compliance with transaction documentation.
• Liaise with borrowers and joint venture partners to obtain property and market information and, if relevant, documentation and information needed in connection with drawdown requests.
• Work closely with Asset Managers in the production of CMSA and other client reporting.

 

Experience required:

• Work experience in an office environment ideally including commercial property, dealing with multiple and numerical tasks.
• A desire for career growth in the field of commercial property.
• Business or finance degree from a recognised institution, a degree level relevant qualification from a professional body or a combination of education and work experience dealing with mathematical analysis is desirable.
• Strong computer skills (Windows and Excel).
• Working knowledge of accounting terms and financial principles.
• Self motivated and detail orientated with the ability to function successfully in a fast paced environment.
• European languages, although not essential, would be of particular interest
