Our client is acorporate finance advisory and transaction execution businessproviding services to clients within the metals, mining, and related sectors, ferrous and non-ferrous, worldwide.

Theybelieve that the mining and metals sectors are currently going through significant changes and will continue to do so for the coming decade. Globalisation, consolidation, downstream integration, portfolio rationalisation, and further privatisations are accelerating trends that will create significant new opportunities for companies in these sectors. Many companies will also have to undergo significant restructuring of their activities. To be successful in facing these challenges, companies will need to have access to independent, industry focused and highly experienced corporate finance advice.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to take on a mid level Associate (with potential to become Senior Associate within a year or two) to join their experienced and established team.The ideal candidate would have the following attributes:

•3-6 years corporate finance experience

•Fluency in valuation, IM, due diligence and data room management

•Experience ofnegotiating with lawyers, accountants and advisors

•Demonstrate M&A/corporate finance deal execution experience

•Mandate management,negotiations, and documentation exposure

•Mature presence in front of Clients

•Metals and mining exposure

•Additional languages (French, etc) would be ideal.

•Training with a bulge bracket firm would preferred
