Our London Cheapside office is looking for an ambitious intern to join the Internal Recruitment team on a 12 month placement. The London Cheapside office is our Flagship office and is located in the heart of the City within the business district surrounded by a range of shops, tourist attractions and other likeminded driven business people. You will be responsible for supporting the strategic hiring of future talent to join the leading specialist recruitment company within the UK & Ireland.

Each month the Cheapside office receives a high volume of applications; you will be assisting the Cheapside Internal Recruiter by shortlisting the best talent. As you develop in your role, you will start to complete first stage telephone interviews with all suitable applications. To ensure that you attract the best talent you will be responsible for your own candidate attraction strategies; this includes advert writing, posting on all internal and external jobsite portals and utilising social media sites such as LinkedIn.

You will support with a range of administration tasks which include; CV preparation, setting up for events and liaising with other interns for incentives. You will be managing the hiring process for all new starters joining the Cheapside office collecting all compliance for job offers and processing all their contracts. This includes liaising start dates with directors and ensuring all compliance has been collected. You will need a strong attention to detail as you will be processing all offers on our system, ensuring an efficient process. You will support the Cheapside Internal Recruiter and Project Coordinator whenever needed with the maintenance of Hays adverts nationally on all university portals and collating monthly reports. You will be working within a fast passed environment so you must have strong organisation skills and be able to prioritise your workload. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as you will be communicating with the business on all levels from other Interns to the Managing Director.
