My client is part of a large retail group based in Hertfordshire. They are looking to recruit a Financial Analyst into the team. This is a commercial role, supporting the Retail team, IT and Business Support and providing senior management with information to make effective decisions, to challenge current ways of thinking and drive company profitability.

¢ Analysis of product sales and margin to drive profitability and ensure data accuracy
¢ Stock Accounting, analysis of stock holding and supplier invoicing
¢ Work with the Head of Retail to ensure that the marketing budget is spent effectively
¢ Management of a number of P L accounts, analysis of monthly costs, preparing journals, variance reporting and monthly reviews with senior management.
¢ Assist in the development of budgeting and forecasting models and processes.
¢ Ad hoc project work to support business change.

You will be studying towards your CIMA or ACCA, with a track record of problem solving and business improvement with the ability to multi task and determine your priorities. Experience of Oracle advantageous.
