Our client a corporate and investment banking division of highly sought after firm is seeking a qualified Accountant with a strong knowledge of financial and product knowledge to join their expanding team.



As the Qualified Accountant reporting to the head of Accounting and Audit you would be expected to:



· Be ACA/ ACCA or CIMA qualified

· Have demonstrated commitment and longevity with previous employer

· The successful candidate needs to have strong financial control and product control knowledge

· Be able to deal effectively with ledger queries

· Experience of P&L Attribution

· Investigate balance sheet anomalies

· Have perfect double entry journal skills

· Understand and have had exposure to FX

· Have product knowledge of Bonds, CDs, CDO's



The successful candidate should come from a banking background and will need to be able to work under minimal supervision and be able to think and work well under pressure. With this role comes excellent financial rewards and recognition. This role provides the scope to move into and progress into other areas of the firm.
