This major asset manager, with a reputation for innovation and excellence, is looking for a Qualified Financial Accountant with extensive US GAAP experience.
As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for managing the general ledger and financial reporting process to ensure accounting and reporting are in compliance with internal policy, US GAAP, IFRS and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
Specifically, you will:
•Prepare regulatory and financial reports for entities based in the US and manage all intercompany accounting and reporting as well as managing the accrual process during close.
•Review month-end close process and recommend procedures to improve the timeliness and integrity of financial information.
•Review global regulatory capital adequacy.
•Compile financial and regulatory compliance reporting and recommend procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy of the reporting process.
•Co-ordinate with regional accounting teams on quarterly financial and management reporting
•Manage or assist with special projects including development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures, and participate in cross-functional teams to implement accounting related and other corporate initiatives.
In order to be considered for this Financial Accounting role:
•You must be a qualified accountant, ideally a CPA with excellent US GAAP experience
•Ideally, possess 5 years of financial service experience, asset management preferred
•Demonstrate ability to manage multiple complex projects and adhere to strict deadlines.
•Be detail oriented and self-directed.
•Possess Knowledge of Oracle general ledger and OFA, a plus.
