Our Client, a leading global investment bank is looking to recruit a Compliance Manager. Reporting to the Head of Central Compliance (Europe & Asia) and deputising in his absence, duties will include;

•Advising and supporting the Capital Markets Operations department on regulatory matters of relevance to them and in particular Transaction Reporting, Client Assets, Client Money and systems access
•Updating and maintaining Compliance Policies and procedures which pertain to Central Compliance
•Guiding other members of the team on non-standard cases pertaining to Approved Persons, Gifts, Personal Dealing, Outside business activities, tracking of audit and regulatory actions etc
•Assist the Head of Central Compliance with the production and enhancement of internal reporting (Head Office/ Board reports) and external reporting (FSA etc)
•Handling terms of business and other related correspondence from counterparties, and liaising with the Legal department as necessary on matters requiring their input
•Regular liaison with other global offices

You should have experience of Capital Markets, particularly of Operations with good knowledge of the COBS & Market Abuse requirements. Experience of transaction reporting advantageous but more important are communication skills & flexibility given the need to co-ordinate on a global basis and to deputise for the Head when required.
