You will work with an established team that is pivotal to the bank's functioning and you will handle all the legal issues connected to the bankBBTECH_RESERVED_
JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will work with an established team that is pivotal to the bank's functioning and you will handle all the legal issues connected to the bank's Treasury team, looking at capital raising; senior debt issues; and securitisations in a range of asset classes. You will also offer support for US transactions and be the key person for looking at related regulatory changes as they appear. This is a varied role and will require you to work outside of capital markets matters on other general issues, so you need to be adaptable in your approach and outlook.
This is a very unusual role offering great access to senior staff across the bank. As it's more varied than just a transactional role, it offers the opportunity to gain experience in new areas.
SKILLS:
You will be a qualified capital markets lawyer, ideally with regulatory capital experience. Knowledge of financial services law and strong technical knowledge of capital markets regulations, FSA regulations on capital, listing rules, companies law is desirable too.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The role is of a level which would normally be suitable for individuals with 4 years post qualified experience, but we will consider candidates from outside of this if they can demonstrate the necessary competencies.
