THE FIRM
Our client is one of the leading offshore firms with over 10 offices globally. There are currently about 20 lawyers in the BVI office, headed up by a high profile corporate partner. A need for a private client team has arisen due to the influx of private client work in other offices and demand for this to expand to the BVI office. The intention over time is to build out the team and bring on associates to join the head of the team.
THE ROLE
Our client is looking for someone to head up the private client/trusts department of their BVI office. The requirements are for a manager or senior associate who has 7-8 years experience working with high end clients. You will ideally have business development experience and be comfortable with marketing. Previous offshore experience would be helpful but not essential.
Partnership prospects are available once you have proven yourself and have spent a few years with the firm, immersing yourself in the culture and close knit environment. Salary is generous and there is only 8% tax.
ABOUT YOU
- At least 6 years experience and qualified in the UK
- You will be at least of Senior Associate level
- You will have private client/trusts experience from a top end firm/company
- You will have the desire to live on one of the most beautiful islands in the world
